AMC Theatres in conjunction with the Autism Society of America are bringing families affected by autism and other disabilities a special opportunity to enjoy their favorite films in a safe and accepting environment on a monthly basis with the “Sensory Friendly Films” program.
What makes these movies different from a regular screening?

May 5 – Pirates! Band of Misfits
June 16 – Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted

We are very fortunate to have Cynthia Conway as part of our sons Team of Therapists. Cynthia is an Occupational Therapist and on March 24th, 2012, will be running in the Dole Great Race of Agoura.
Cynthia will be participating as a member of Train 4 Autism, a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing together a community of athletes, physically-active, and socially conscious people who are committed to raising awareness and funds for research and treatment for those living with autism and their families.
Hacienda Oaks Estates,501(c)(3) mission statement is: Providing a self-sustaining farm that will offer opportunities for the community to live green and healthy, while empowering adults with developmental disabilities to lead meaningful and productive lives. (This is Cynthia’s Doctorate project through the University of Southern California)
Cynthia’s goal is to raise $4000.00 for Hacienda Oaks Estates by March 23rd, 2012.
